Banner + Portholes = Great Learning Tool

Remember those paper plate portholes we made? If not it's alright. There is a link right here you can click on.
And don't forget the zones of the sea banner we made. You will need that as well. Here is that link.
Well, we took those paper plates and added them to our Zones of the Sea Banner. It came out really great and as an added learning tool we got some cool facts from the National Geographic website. They even have a lesson you can follow if you would like. Here is the link:

We started by printing out the facts from website and then cutting them out and arranging, in no particular order, on the table. Once that was done we sat down and read about all five pelagic zones.

We glued the portholes we made earlier to each corresponding zone.

When the plate for that zone was glued down I read the facts to my daughter (she is only 3) and she glued them the proper zone.

And then we hung it back on the fridge and here is what it looks like now.
I really hope you like this project. It was a lot of fun to do and we had a great time combining the two projects together. When all was said and done it turned out to be a great educational tool.
